Our Work

People, Programs, Partnerships

At ARCH-Uganda, everything we do is grounded in the belief that strong rural health systems are built by investing in the right people, supporting effective programs, and forging strategic partnerships. These three pillars guide our mission and define our approach to impact:

1. People: Empowering the Frontline

At the heart of our mission is the people who make healthcare work in rural Uganda — especially community health workers (CHWs) and local health leaders.

2. Programs: Driving Community Health Impact

We strengthen core programs that deliver essential services to rural Ugandans, with a focus on scalable, community-based health models.

3. Partnerships: Mobilizing Resources & Investing in the Future

We build partnerships across sectors and continents to bring visibility, funding, and long-term support to Uganda’s rural health ecosystem.

People's Health & Economic Development

ARCH-Uganda proudly supports the work of our first partner, PHEALED (www.phealed.org), a Ugandan-led organization delivering essential healthcare to rural communities in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains in western Uganda.

Together, we are strengthening frontline health systems by empowering community health workers and expanding access to life-saving services where they are needed most.
